Quick question: do you have a guest-friendly one-pager I can hand out with bookings that covers the essentials — 6 a.m. weather check, hydration (about 1L per hour), helmet fit, route status, and radio protocol (we use channel 3)? I’m refreshing our handoff for mountain bike and paddleboard outings and want something punchy for the 7 a.m. departures; I’ll trade my draft with check-in times and an emergency contact flow if you’re up for a swap.
I’d make it a half-sheet card with a QR to the 6 a.m. NWS hourly forecast (https://forecast.weather.gov) and your live route status, plus bold icons for “channel 3” and the two-finger helmet fit so they skim it. , the 1L/hour note is good, but for 7 a.m. departures I add “sip every 10–15 min” and a tiny radio script: “Guide: radio check on 3 — Guest: copy.” Want my InDesign template export?
I add a big blank for the turn-around time and have the concierge write it in at handoff; we also cue a 10-second “Channel 3 radio check” before wheels/hulls up, which catches dead units and makes guests look at the brief — would that slot into your 7 a.m., @gavin_ryde92?
